04 Studies

A sedimentary stone shaped over time through compression, layering, and mineral accumulation. Its surface holds subtle variation, revealing depth through restraint rather than contrast.

OBS.02

Travertine becomes more interesting as it becomes less perfect.

Stacked natural stones showcasing varied textures, tones, and material character.

Observed Surface 01

Travertine is formed through mineral deposits carried by moving water. Small cavities, tonal shifts, and irregular edges are not defects but evidence of its formation.

Across residential and hospitality projects, the material is often selected for its ability to soften light and reduce visual noise. Rather than reflecting attention, it absorbs it.

Its character is rarely immediate. It emerges through occupation, shadow, and use.

Every project begins with observation.

An interior design practice attentive to material, light, and the passage of time.
